Word of Wisdom & Conspiring Men in Modern Times – Part 1
The Lord warned and forewarned the saints of evil & conspiring men in the last days who would seek to poison mankind and attack the general health of the population. The LDS Word of Wisdom is designed to be adapted to the times in which we live. In modern times, we must all learn to identify and avoid harmful toxins and strive to consume a wise diet that allows for our bodies to heal and house the Holy Spirit.

“I Have Warned You, and Forewarn You”
The word of wisdom is intended to be “adapted to the capacity of the weak and the weakest of all saints” and is to be updated with the times we live in. Anything that is harmful to the human body or mind should be avoided, and is part of the word of wisdom. Anything that brings strength and health we should seek after in our diets.
D&C 89:1-4
1 A Word of Wisdom, for the benefit of the council of high priests, assembled in Kirtland, and the church, and also the saints in Zion—2 To be sent greeting; not by commandment or constraint, but by revelation and the word of wisdom, showing forth the order and will of God in the temporal salvation of all saints in the last days—
3 Given for a principle with promise, adapted to the capacity of the weak and the weakest of all saints, who are or can be called saints.
4 Behold, verily, thus saith the Lord unto you: In consequence of evils and designs which do and will exist in the hearts of conspiring men in the last days, I have warned you, and forewarn you, by giving unto you this word of wisdom by revelation-
The presenter walks through several of the major health concerns of modern times, and the poisons that are harming our bodies today. But avoiding toxins is not enough. We must strive to undo the decades of toxic exposure and seek to consume a diet that allows for our bodies to heal and house the Holy Spirit to the fullest capacity.
