For surely he spake as touching all things concerning my people which are of the house of Israel; therefore it must needs be that he must speak also to the Gentiles” (3 Nephi 23:1). To do so, they must exercise faith like unto the Brother of Jared and remember to serve the God of the land (Jesus Christ). If they do not repent and return to the Lord, they will not receive the greater portion. They will be swept off the land of promise.
