- Christ suffered our infirmities so that he would have mercy and know how to heal us. He suffered physically to pay the debt for our sins. WE must repent, fear not, lay aside every sin, enter into a covenant with him to keep his commandments for the rest of our lives. We witness it by baptism, keeping the commandments to the end of our mortal life, receive the baptism of fire and baptism of the Holy Ghost. This person shall have eternal life. (Alma 7:9-17)
