D&C 64:1,2 – God will give you specific commandments  and will help you “overcome the worl”

D&C 76:51,52 – Overcome the world by keeping the commandments that God gives you. Receive the Baptism of Fire & Holy Ghost and overcome the world by faith which is (seeking after, receiving, and acting on personal revelation – God’s commandments to you)

2 Nep 31:19,20 – You have not been able to do what you have done except by unshaken faith in Christ, keeping His commandments.  Continue to do this over and over.  Overcome by faith over and over.  Rely on Christ who is mighty to save.  Feast, take in, the words of Christ over and over (enduring to the end)

2 Nep 32:1-6 – Restates what was said In 2 Nephi 31:19-21 and reaffirms that message.

Key Information about Joseph Smith – 17’50”

D&C 64:2,5 – Overcome the world.  Joseph Smith has the keys of the mysteries of the kingdom.

D&C 7:7 – Joseph Smith will have the keys until Christ returns.

D&C 90:3 – The keys of the kingdom will never be taken from Joseph Smith while he is in the world, or the world to come. 

Contrite Spirit – 20’40”

D&C 64:9-11  -Forgiveness is part of the contrition we must have in regards to offering up a broken heart & contrite spirit.

Commandments (Gods will for me) vs. Laws (Gods will/requirements for everyone) – 23’17”

D&C 64:15 – Separation between terms law and commandment (2 different things)

D&C 64:22 – Open heart is part of broken heart and contrite spirit. God requires our hearts. Sacrifice a broken heart to Him. 

Tithing of God’s people (nothing to do with money)- 27’30”

D&C 64:23-26 – The tithing of God’s people. Tithed in this context means spared as inherent in these verses.

D&C 112:23-26 – Darkness covers the earth, gross darkness covers the minds of the people. Vengeance poured out upon the people through various methods.  This takes place upon His house first from those that profess to know God and don’t. ( aka blasphemy).

3 Nep 9:20 – Those who make the sacrifice of a broken heart and contrite spirit God will baptize with fire & the Holy Ghost.

D&C 64:23- 24 – The day of sacrifice, to be tithed of Gods people, ties into that sacrifice of a broken heart and contrite spirit. Today means before Lord’s coming.  Tomorrow is tied into the wrath, burning, and destruction of those that were not spared from the tithe.

D&C 45:56-57 – Wise virgins receive the truth (see 2 Nephi 28 for further study), take the spirit as their guide (broken heart and contrite spirit and baptism of fire and Holy Ghost), and have not been deceived. Virgin equals good people, but wise need to do these 3 things so that they shall not be hewn down and cast into the fire but abide the day.

2 Nep 16:9,10 – 13 – (See Isaiah 6:13) – Some people hear but don’t understand.  We need to understand with our hearts, open heart, broken heart and contrite spirit (3 Nephi 9:20).

D&C 112:23 – Darkness covers the earth, gross darkness covers the minds of the people

2 Nep 16:11-13 -Destruction of cities and people, but there will still be a tenth (tithe) left (see Isaiah 6:13)

D&C 64:25 – Believe God and labor today.

D&C 88:81- If you have been warned warn your neighbor, “today/before Christ returns”

D&C 64:32-36 – Do well by laying the foundation of a great work, great and marvelous work. God requires our hearts and willing mind.  The willing and obedient to Gods commandments will enter Zion. The rebellious do not and are plucked out and do not inherit Zion.

Matt 6:21 –  Wherever our treasure is, is where our hearts are.

Mosiah 3:19 – The natural man is an enemy to God unless we yield to the Spirit.  Natural man has a hard heart.  Break that heart and be born of the Spirit.

Ezek 36:26 – God will give us a new heart and new spirit and replace our stoney heart as we remove the natural man and are born again.  We need a heart of flesh, not stone.  Soft heart not hard heart. 

Mosiah 3:19 – Put off the natural man, the stoney heart, and yield to the enticings of the Holy Spirit.

Omni 1:26 – Offer your whole soul as an offer to Christ.  Come unto Him by doing this. Receive the Baptism of Fire and Holy Ghost. Power verse that sums up the Doctrine of Christ. 

3 Nep 9:20-21 – Redemption comes by the Baptism of Fire and Holy Ghost

D&C 64:35 – Redeemed by giving God our heart and mind until we receive redemption and the baptism of Fire and Holy Ghost.

D&C 66:2-3 – Receive the everlasting covenant, even the fulness of the gospel. God will show you what to do

2 Nep 32:5 – The Holy Ghost will show us what we need to do.

D&C 66: 4,10,12 –  Learn how to repent and continue to do the will of the Lord specifically for you as given by the Spirit.  Overcome by faith over and over as you endure to the end.

Becoming Christs son or daughter – The “blood of Ephraim”- 1:13:37

D&C 64:36 – Not the blood of Ephraim

3 Nep 9:17,20 – Receiving Christ is to become His Son or Daughter.  An adopted son or daughter of Christ.

Mosiah 5:7-8 – The covenant, the New & Everlasting Covenant, is how you become a child of Christ, His son or daughter as you are spiritually reborn.

Ezek 36:26 – New heart given by God all ties into becoming Christs son or daughter as you are reborn spiritually.

Rom 9:6-8 – Physical seed of Abraham does not necessarily mean you are a son or daughter/child of Christ.

D&C 64:36 – the rebellious are not blood Ephraim, they do not offer up a broken heart and contrite spirit.

Ephesians 1:4-5 – Be holy and without blame to be an adopted child of Christ.

Summing up things the End Time Servant will do – 1:24:00

D&C 64:39 – Liars and hypocrites will be proved as such and those who are not apostles and prophets will be made known

D&C 65:1-5 – Prayer about End Time Servant.  The man who has the keys, until Christ comes or the end time servant, the gospel will go forth. Receive guidance of Spirit so you can be saved
